Power...

Power is the product of strength and speed. When we perform a task as quickly and as forcefully as we can, the result is powerful. For example, sprints start a shot-put or javelin throw or long-jump.
Power is a work or energy that or body produces. Power comes from our muscles; we use power in our everyday life for example running for the bus or lifting something.
There are two different types of muscle fibers, type 1 and type 2.
Type 1 muscle fibers are slow twitch muscle fibers. They are more efficient when in your aerobic zone because they get oxygen quickly. Theses muscles also take a longer time to fatigue.
Type 2 muscle fibers are fast twitch fibers; these muscle fibers allow you to exert short fast outbursts of speed and power. For example a sprinter would have fast twitch fibers. These muscles fatigue a lot quicker because they use more power and tire quickly

the cost to do a test for power won't cost a lot because you can do a quick and simple test called the vertical  jump. this test shows you how high you jump, the higher you jump the more power you can generate.
to do this test all you need is a few meter rulers. This test doesn't take up much time either so you can test yourself anytime.
where can this test be done? this test can be done in the comfort of your own home! if there is enough space that is.  but most people would do it in a room that has loads of space to jump up and down in.

there will be some advantages of the test for example you can do it anywhere and minimal eqipment is needed for this activity. the test is also easy to cunduct and collect results.

a disadvantage of this test would be you need someone to collate your data, also you may not have the actual piece of equipment needed for this test so it would be difficult to get an accurate result from this.
